In April of this year we posted that the recycling program had been greatly expanded. In July, the program changed again.
Please disregard our prior post from April 2018 and visit goodsdisposalservice.com to obtain the most recent and up to date recycling requirements.
Also remember that although we generally follow “When In Doubt, Throw It Out,” there are rules for Hazardous Household Waste, like paint and batteries, on the County’s Waste Management website lcswma.org.
On June 20 & 21, weather permitting, the landscaping crew will be spreading fertilizer on the lawn areas in the Common Area and townhouse lawns in the community.
The application is granular and reentry into the lawn can resume any time after application.

Because of the temperate weather, weeds are already starting to grow in landscaping beds.
On March 12 & 13, weather permitting, the landscaping crew will be spreading the pre-emergent weed control in all landscaping beds.
The Board for Kissel Hill Commons Lot Owners Association has become aware that over the past few months there has been an increase in the number of thefts in the community. While historically our community has experienced very little activity of this sort, we ask and remind you to please safeguard your belongings, keep porch lights on at night, and help keep a watchful eye on the community by reporting suspicious activity to the local police.
—Unfortunately, due to a lack of interest, this event has been cancelled—
